The last time I have involved myself in serious calculations was when I studied the fundamental formula for gambling. It was fun as I tried applying the concept to varied games apart from where it is used most, Poker (1,2). About four months back, I tried using this formula to calculate the first mover advantage in a ping-pong game. Well! There are mixed results as I see now. I am convinced with the results I have achieved, as happy as ever. At the same time, I have few friends who question me strongly if it had made any sense to import a concept with out its essence. But all that aside, why did I have to recall it now. Reasons exist!!
